***************************************************
Our new IDAutomation Pocket PC DLLs allow easy integration of dynamic barcodes into Pocket PC, Microsoft Windows Mobile or Windows CE.NET applications. Several linear and two dimensional barcode symbologies are supported including Code 39, Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, UPC, POSTNET, PDF417 and Data Matrix ECC 200.

All of our Compact Framework Controls have the following features:

  • 100% managed code created in C# for the Compact Framework.
  • Generates graphic images without the use of fonts.
  • Can be used as a DLL without being loaded on a form.

***************************************************
2. Linear Dynamic Generator Service
***************************************************
Our new IDAutomation Linear Dynamic Generator Service dynamically creates high quality images that are streamed to your application; creates bar codes in any application that can access a URL in any operating system. Primary Features include:

  • Compatible with all web browsers that can display GIF, JPEG or PNG images on any operating system.
  • All linear barcode types are implemented in a single package.
  • No software to install - hosted and managed on our tier-one network server in Dallas, Texas.
  • Barcodes are instantly generated and displayed in HTML by the IMG tag; parameters in the URL determine what is encoded.
For more information about our IDAutomation Linear Dynamic Generator Service, please visit: http://www.idautomation.com/dynamicgenerator/ and to try the online demo, please visit: http://www.idautomation.com/dynamicgenerator/UserManual.html#Support.

This is a hosted service; if you are interested in purchasing products to install and run on your equipment, you may want to investigate our Java Bar Code Servlet (http://idautomation.com/java/#Servlet), Bar Code Server for IIS (http://idautomation.com/aspbarcode/), Barcode Web Component (http://www.idautomation.com/servercontrols/), Barcode Label Software (http://www.idautomation.com/idlabel/) and Barcode Fonts (http://www.idautomation.com/fonts/#BarcodeFonts).

3. .NET Linear Barcode Forms Control
***************************************************
Our new updated version of the IDAutomation .NET Linear Barcode Forms Control version 6.4 has now been released. This package includes several updates:

  • Allow more efficient encoding for Code 128 auto and UPC-E functionality.
  • Bearer bars may be easily created for ITF and all other linear barcode types.
  • White bar increase option increases the amount of white space in the symbol to improve readability by a scanner. This property is commonly used for ink jet printers and for printers that print darker than normal and is similar to pixel shaving.
  • Character grouping property places digits in groups of 3, 4 or 5 to improve readability of the text under the bar code.
  • New compatibility with .NET Framework 2.0.

5. Datacard Tru Fingerprint Reader
***************************************************
The Datacard Tru Fingerprint solution lets you collect fingerprint templates and then verify those templates against a live person. Simply scan the fingerprint and the Tru Fingerprint software will create and save the mathematical representation of the fingerprint. The Tru Fingerprint solution also lets you capture, store and print a fingerprint image on a card. Although this fingerprint image does not allow for any verification, it does serve as a perceived security feature as it may deter from identity theft.
