The Barcode CRI Has Gone 2D!

by Nate Schubert

For years, the IDAutomation Reporting Services Barcode CRI has dependably delivered high-quality barcode generation within Reporting Services SQL Server 2005 or 2008 for many different barcode types such as Code 128, Code 39, UPC, Intelligent Mail and others. This component generates barcodes in Microsoft Reporting Services as an integrated component, which means no barcode fonts are necessary. All Designer and Render DLLs included with the package are 100% managed code which were created in C#, digitally signed and time-stamped with Verisign Authenticode certificates.

Today, we are pleased to announce the addition of 2D barcode generation capability in the Linear + 2D Barcode CRI for Aztec, Data Matrix ECC200, PDF417 and QR Code. This will allow much more flexibility in terms of reporting services barcode generation. Full installation instructions for various symbologies are available in the Reporting Services Barcode CRI Manual.
